Ruin the Ruins

We ask you to participate in a parody with us where the historical characters of the Torlonia busts have come to life and are indulging in playing with you. Some may convey political messages, some have dived into pools of colour, some broken in the process of experimentation. Instead of researchers propounding theories that alienate the viewer from the subject, which is the regular museum experience, artists and social scientists inhabit and transform the bust and spaces according to their whim, constantly pushing socio-cultural boundaries as they do so.
