The Taddle Creek Center is a retreat for more than just humans as it provides shelter and habitat to several different species. While the program of the building is a center for dialogue, the building itself facilitates conversation between humans and the natural environment.  The building was respectfully named the Taddle Creek Center as a reminder and homage to the many creeks, ponds, wetlands, and forest that have made way for our human shelters - our cities. As our society adapts over the next century, we must consider our entire ecosystem as stakeholders for our designs and not just our human communities in order to create sustainable cities.
