Cameron Parkin

Adjunct Professor

Cameron Parkin (BAS Honours, M.Arch) is an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture and a Research Associate at Waterloo Architecture’s DATAlab. Cameron’s research focuses on the representation of complex field conditions through data driven, computationally generated drawings and models, with a specific interest in ecological systems in the urban environment. Cameron received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Waterloo. During this time, he completed a thesis that developed digital design tools for Toronto’s avian habitat networks, which received an AIA Henry Adams Medal and a Canadian Architect Student Award of Excellence.
