Melissa Ng

Adjunct Professor

Melissa Ng received her Bachelor of Architectural Studies in 2009 and Master of Architecture from Waterloo in 2014. Her thesis research focused on the importance of direct material engagement in architectural education. Melissa is a woodworker and potter, and has built furniture solely using hand tools and traditional wood joinery. She approaches projects with a careful attention to detail and strives to apply the craftsperson’s mindset to her daily practice of architecture.
