The objective is to create an immersive experience with the surrounding landscape of stone and water. The journey of the individual’s soul rejuvenation starts with a simple tea ritual in a warmly designed tea house overlooking panoramic lake views. The journey extends beyond self-discovery with heightening the senses of the individual by becoming in direct contact with materials that are derived from the surroundings. STONE, LIGHT AND WATER. The bathing experience is an intimate one that has been considered intricately in reference to the human experience. Stone and wood finishing materials were chosen to amplify the sensation of the human skin, in the simplest of actions like a foot stepping on the floor or a body leaning on the wall.
